Why is Hyperliquid down today?

$92.04-2.0% 24h+10.8% 7d

Hyperliquid's modest 0.6% daily gain — and its much larger 14.1% weekly run — tracks back to Binance opening spot trading for HYPE at 11:00 UTC on September 24, with pairs against USDT, USDC and the Turkish lira. The exchange simultaneously flagged 13 pairs for delisting. HYPE ticked up after the listing notice, but much of the move was front-run during the week; earlier in the session it was listed among the larger-cap losers as Bitcoin slipped below $84,000.

Infrastructure news added support. DoubleZero rolled out dedicated market-data infrastructure for Hyperliquid, began piping its RWA order-book data to institutional desks, and started selling paid order-book feeds at $900 to $5,000 per month. Separately, Lion Group disclosed a treasury position of roughly 195,000 HYPE.

The rest is market beta: Bitcoin is up 10.3% over seven days and 0.3% on the day, a near-identical pattern to HYPE's. Tokenization headlines — ARK/Securitize, Ondo/BlackRock, IBM/Swift — have kept onchain-finance names bid.
